Great Banquet Family,
I just want to give God all the glory for what He is doing through us. It never ceases to amaze me how He transform lives with just our undivided attention. If long ago, we knew what we know now, imagine the possibilities. Our Spring banquet season brought up challenges that I never would have imagined, but God brought us through. It was really challenging maneuvering around Chrysalis, Easter, and all the school events but we got it done.
So, with that being said, thanks again for all the love and support you continue to show the guest during the banquet seasons. Remember, this does not happen without you. Your contributions are greatly appreciated. We definitely feel the love in the prison ministry as well when the guest there open hand written letters and tears of joy run down their faces. So, keep doing what God prompts you to do. Your love doesn’t go unnoticed.
A reminder to all the sponsors who decide to sponsor a guest, make sure you look over the sponsor’s responsibilities and follow through because a guest really doesn’t get the full banquet experience without a good sponsor, who can help along their journey.
I don’t want to go on without mentioning the passing of our dear friend Greg Crowley. He always greeted me with a hug and gave me my first opportunity to serve on a FPC banquet team. His quiet demeanor reminded me to just sit back and watch God, “do what He do.” He went home to glory doing what God wanted him to do. I know this is really hard on his wife Kelley their family and his friends, so keep them in your prayers.
Well, that’s all I have…
God bless you all and have a great Summer. I truly enjoy seeing the Body in action
