Dear Madisonville Great Banquet Community,

It was such an honor and privilege to serve as Lay Director of the Men’s Weekend #201.  This Banquet Community has been such a huge blessing in my life for the past 15 years.  I will be forever grateful for the friendships and bonds that have shaped my Christian Walk.

The weekend could not have been possible without the tremendous efforts by the Mighty Men of God that comprised the team. The preparation for the weekend didn’t come without the usual challenges of having to replace team members due to uncontrollable circumstances.  However, from the very beginning, this team gelled.   They were faithful, consistent, and prayed up.  As we all know, tremendous sacrifices must be made to be on a Banquet team.  These men will always hold a special place in my heart for these sacrifices.

I’m also so appreciative of the entire Madisonville Great Banquet Community.  So many people give and serve to make these weekends possible.  Your efforts don’t go unnoticed.  The agape love that you show is often the first time some of our guests have ever felt that love.  So Thank You!!

I sat back in awe the entire weekend as The Holy Spirit moved.  Watching the team members serve as the hands and feet of Christ, hearing the men worship freely.   Lives were transformed, walls broken down, chains broken, relationships restored, and men stepping in the role God created them to be.

I thank God for this humbling experience.

De Colores,
John Lovell
